Have you ever tried to make an appointment, but the schedule was full?

Why not join the waiting list?! This gives you a good chance of getting an appointment that day.

In the bottom right corner of the day you want, click on the words "WAITING LIST" and submit your information there. If anyone on the schedule cancels, you'll be asked by email if you would like to take that canceled time slot. 

The Writing Center has a good record for accommodating those on the WAITING LIST, so give it a try! 

To make a face to face appointment, click on a WHITE time slot on the day you would like to visit the Writing Center and ensure that it says meet "face to face." 

If you would like to make a synchronous, online consultation appointment, follow the same steps as above, but please make sure you choose "yes" to the prompted question "Meet Online?"

At the time of your appointment, please log into WCOnline and click on your scheduled appointment time on the schedule. You will be prompted to click on a RED link to "join" the consultant in an online chat room. Your consultant will direct you to upload a document and access the audio feature.

Students can schedule up to 1-hour per session, and up to 2 hours per week.

Please be on time for your face to face or online consultation appointment. If you are more than ten minutes late for an appointment, you will be marked as a no-show, and your consultant might begin working with a drop-in student. If you miss two appointments in one semester, you will be temporarily blocked from accessing our our online scheduler. You will have to meet with The Writing Center Directors to discuss options to reinstate access.

Receiving unwanted text messages from this system? This system can send appointment reminder and waiting list notifications via text message, but only if a cell phone number and carrier is entered by a client when creating or updating an account on the system.
